The Light that Leads Us Home – Hope (Pastor Rick Melvin)

Play

The word ‘advent’ means ‘coming;’ its purpose was, and still is, to look forward to the coming of Christ. Advent is a season of waiting. It’s intention is to stir eager expectation, calling people to recognize that God broke into time and space and entered our world, and that He wants to do the same in individual lives today.

Hope For Tomorrow Pastor Matt Sampson (Video!)

We are taking a break in our sermon series this week and we are talking about, “Hope for tomorrow”. For over 80,000 residents of Fort Mcmurray, this has been a disastrous week. It is vital that we understand that in times of tragedy, God can be found in the chaos. According to scripture, there is always room in The Father’s House and that we are all sons and daughters of God. We, as the family of God have the opportunity to put the gospel of Christ on display for our communities.
