Their mission will be to facilitate a Bible study program for 200 children, paint and do maintenance on a school, serve and provide visitation within the community, and work alongside the local church. Evangelical Tradition (Pastor Greg Fraser) (Video!)

In his book, Streams of Living Water, Richard Foster describes six great traditions of the Christian faith: Contemplative, Charismatic, Holiness, Social Justice, Evangelical, and Incarnational. Today’s curriculum will focus on the Evangelical Tradition, also know as the Word – centered life. The intent will be to learn what it means to love the Word, so that we can better know the God of the Word, and proclaim His message to the world.

Missions Trip to Haiti

The Father’s House is sending a team of 9 people from Morinville to Grand Goave, Haiti in March 2017 to provide support and relief efforts in partnership with Haiti Arise.

Haiti Arise is a registered Canadian charity that works to strengthen the Haitian people spiritually while expanding their skill base practically to influence positive change around them. The aim of Haiti Arise is to raise up godly leaders in Haiti through education to strengthen their families, community and nation, bringing relief to poverty, bringing hope for a strong future, stimulating the economy and preaching the good news so that lives will be saved. Since the earthquake in 2010 they have been establishing schools, medical clinics, better agricultural practices and a children’s village to provide a home environment for children without parents.

The Father’s House has committed to a partnership with Haiti Arise this year to provide resources for project based initiatives such as repairs for schools, children’s festivals, and other community initiatives.

The cost of mobilizing a team to serve in Haiti is substantial. Each team member is asked to raise approximately $2500 (CAN) to cover their cost, including their airfare, meals, and accommodation, and ground transportation. Additionally, The Father’s House Church and the team members are tasked with raising funds to cover the costs of various projects the team will be working on while in Haiti.

If you are interested in getting involved your prayer support would be greatly appreciated. You can also participate in this project by giving financially. For more information contact Rick at [email protected]
